Would you like a fun class that develops team work and communication skills between you and your pup? Tricks is a delightful way to engage your dog mentally and physically. If you would like to earn titles for your dog as well, this class does it all!!
This class introduces pets and their family members how to have a well behaved dog. Also known as “THINGS EVERY GOOD DOG SHOULD KNOW” and covers basic obedience commands such as; sit, stay,, come, down, walk on a loose leash, heel and place.
Basic house-manners also teaches owners proper techniques for giving medications, how to clean ears, brushing your dog’s teeth, along with basic grooming techniques such as nail trimming.
Please be sure each week to bring poop bags, a soft mat or rug, long-lasting chews or stuffed Kongs and plenty of small, soft treats for your dog.
IF YOUR DOG BARKS, GROWLS, OR IS AGGRESSIVE TO PEOPLE OR DOGS, YOUR DOG IS NOT YET ELIGIBLE FOR GROUP CLASSES.

WEEK 4 – Down, Mine/Take It, Name Game, Polite Walking, Recall, Settle, Sit, Targeting, and Wait
WEEK 5 – Down, Mine/Take It, Name Game, Polite Walking, Recall, Settle, and Sit
WEEK 6 – Review all behaviors, Down, Name Game, Recall, and Wait
Because we are a “One Health” facility we require that dogs or cats in our facilities meet the following parameters:
- Dogs in our facility must be up to date on Rabies, DA2LPP, and bordetella vaccines.
- Dogs must be on heartworm prevention which kills intestinal parasites or have a negative intestinal parasite exam within the last three months and be free of external parasites.
