Our Intermediate Obedience group dog training class is a 6-week class designed for those students who have already graduated from a Basic Obedience class, or who have successfully achieved a solid foundation of basic manners training on their own and/or through private dog training lessons. This group dog training class focuses on refining hand signals, improving responsiveness to verbal cues, increasing responsiveness to cues at a distance, creating a more reliable recall (come when called), stay, impulse control, and leave it, and teaching ‘go to your place’ and settle. This course will help fine tune and improve upon your previous training, as well as allow you an opportunity for troubleshooting behavior issues common to dog parents.
This class is for dogs 5.5 months or older and for dogs of any size, breed, or mix.
Please be sure each week to bring poop bags, a soft mat or rug, long-lasting chews or stuffed Kongs and plenty of small, soft treats for your dog.
IF YOUR DOG BARKS, GROWLS, OR IS AGGRESSIVE TO PEOPLE OR DOGS, YOUR DOG IS NOT YET ELIGIBLE FOR GROUP CLASSES.
