COURSE OVERVIEW
Puppy Pre-K is a 6-week series class designed to teach you and your dog the basic skills necessary for living peacefully as a new member of your family. We will be working on communication skills- Teaching them their name and shaping behaviors, handling your puppy including during vet visits and grooming. We will also address the proper techniques of socializing and how to recognize your dog’s body language. While becoming familiar with them, we will cover the topic of appropriate food, treats, and chew toys. We will also play fun games to keep your dogs engaged!
This class teaches the foundations of obedience training, which makes it a great class for new puppy owners for young dogs, ages 12-20 weeks, or puppies getting settled into a new home
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Please be sure each week to bring poop bags, soft training treats, a harness or collar they are comfortable with and, most importantly, your patience.
